Polish delegation visited NTU to observe advanced technology and bilingual education

On August 16, 2023, NTU President Wen-Chang Chen (陳文章), Vice President for International Affairs Hsiao-Wei Yuan (袁孝維), and Dean of Graduate School of Advanced Technology Tzi-Dar Chiueh (闕志達) welcomed two honorable guests from Poland: Dr. Krzysztof Marian Górski, Secretary General, Nicolaus Copernicus Academy (NCA) and Dr. Piotr Semeniuk, Director General of International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The primary objective of the Polish delegation was to inspect the talent cultivation in advanced technology, bilingual education, and the implementation of university-industry cooperation in Taiwan.

During the meeting, Dean Chiueh introduced the implementation of semiconductor talent education and the key programs in the Graduate School of Advanced Technology. Vice President Yuan, who is also the Associate Director of the Center for Bilingual Education, introduced how NTU develops and implements policies and solutions for faculty members and students to engage in EMI education.

NCA strives to cultivate young Polish talents in science and technology innovation and support scientists of Polish origin to engage in research. NCA looks forward to cooperation with NTU in both education and research.
