A delegation from NTU’s partner school—University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin)—led by Senior Vice Provost for Global Engagement and Chief International Officer Sonia Feigenbaum, Vice President for Research Daniel T. Jaffem, and Director of Global Alumni Relations Fiona Mazurenko, visited NTU to discuss possibilities of deepening research collaboration and faculty and student exchange programs.
In recent years, UT Austin and NTU have had close exchanges, starting with the signing of the student exchange program agreement in 2021, and subsequently launching various international exchange and cooperation programs, including the Taiwan Huayu Best Program in 2022. During this visit, NTU’s Vice President for International Affairs Hsiao-Wei Yuan (袁孝維), received the delegation and invited NTU’s Vice President for Research and Development Chung-Chih Wu (吳忠幟), as well as representatives from the College of Science, College of Engineering, and College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science to discuss research seed project collaborations, joint online course offerings, short-term courses, and overseas internships. It is also expected that research matchmaking will be held this year to initiate joint seed projects.
