Congratulations to six NTU professors who have received the National Chair Professorship and Academic Award from the Ministry of Education.
National Chair Professorship and Academic Award are two major honors in Taiwan awarded annually by the Ministry of Education to scholars demonstrating prominent achievements in teaching and research. Both honors are awarded to a maximum of 13 scholars every year. This year, six professors from NTU are among the recipients. The three professors awarded the 21st National Chair Professorship (2017) are Chung-Ming Kuan (管中閔) from the Department of Finance, Jim-Min Fang (方俊民) from the Department of Chemistry, and Chun-Chieh Wu (吳俊傑) from the Department of Atmospheric Sciences. The three professors awarded the 61st Academic Award (2017) are I-I Lin (林依依) from the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, Sheng-Hsien Chiu (邱勝賢) from the Department of Chemistry, and Chi-Kuang Sun (孫啟光) from the Graduate Institute of Photonics and Optoelectronics. Congratulations to them all!
